THE OPPORTUNITY​ As an Espresso Machine Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of espresso machines for our valued customers. Beyond technical expertise, this role places a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on multiple brands of coffee equipment, primarily La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino espresso machines and Mahlkonig grinders. Also maintain and repair other coffee-ancillary equipment such as hot water boilers and brewers.

Good knowledge of the inner workings of café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, boilers and brewers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to come to the best solution, with customer satisfaction being paramount.
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, clearly explaining technical issues and proposed solutions.

Managing time efficiently to ensure jobs are done on time and promptly.
Job will often be completed outside of regular office hours (9am – 5pm), where you will have the opportunity to take time back in lieu or overtime available.

Provide tips for extending the lifespan of espresso machines to customers through proper cleaning and care. Report issues or customer concerns through the Customer Care Manager or Senior Technician, ensuring the Account Manager is looped in, as required.
